GPOYW ink My only two. There’s a non-webcam-oh-look-at-me-all-contrasty-and-shit picture over at fuckyeahtattoos. Obviously I get asked about them quite a bit. They’re not a bondage thing. They’re not a jail thing. There’s a quote by Frederick Douglass that says “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” The tattoos remind me of that. If life wasn’t hard* it wouldn’t be worthwhile. I have some ideas to build off of them, but those will have to wait for another day. *Says the middle class white guy. I get it. Clearly, I’m not equating or comparing to past infinitely more difficult and important struggles. As they say, it’s all relative.
